À Propos

dpurb.com, launched in 2012 by the independent Franco-British intellectual Danny J. D’Purb, is a hub hosting sensibly curated data/facts, academic essays with scientific (empirical/quantitative) literature and musings over the vision of sensible concepts of psychological (mind) & philosophical (ethical) advancement, with a particular focus on the environmental (ecological/psycho-social) creativity of the human organism, innovation & discussions relating to the definition & enhancement of the “human experience” in the face of obsolete political methods of managing modern society to develop the human organism (at its full potential) & its lacklustre abilities in embracing our constantly evolving scientific discoveries, civilisation, ecosystem, requirements/needs & planet.

Editor’s Note:

Hello World.

Thank you for visiting…

Summing it up concisely,

I am an Independent Intellectual, Private Consultant, Writer, Scholar & Editor for dpurb.com with a strong belief in Environmental Sustainability, and a passionate interest in the Progressive Behaviour & Psychological Design of the “Human Organism” & the effects of Geo-Environmental Conditioning [such as Artistic/Educational/Literary Contents/Environments, etc] on Psychology, Identity, Perception, Communicative & Social Patterns, Motivational Expectancy and Logical Reasoning.

[Hmmm… Let’s see… have I forgotten anything?]

Oh yes… I have also surprisingly inherited native-like mastery of French through cultural transmission after about a decade of exposure to the literary Franco-British community at the Collège Royal de Port-Louis on l’Île Maurice whilst also privately being under the tutelage of the late linguistic, economic, political and literary master, Christian Rivalland [a former student of the London School of Economics] – who spoon fed many political figures and leaders privately globally.

After completing my studies and realising that the limited audience [due to the size of the island] would be restrictive to my academic, literary and philosophic aspirations, ambitions and plans, I moved back to London in 2004 [having left at age 5], and started a Law degree (LLB) before shifting to a BA degree in Photography at the same institution [which I intend to keep private] – a more humanistic, literary and artistic field after coming to terms with the shark-infested environment I would have been chained to in Law.

After about 1 year, realising that my skills were sufficient to start my own photography and design business on a freelance basis, I quit the degree in 2008 and spent the next couple of years self-studying and honing my skills and knowledge in photography, fine painting, music, literature, poetry, politics, management, economy, journalism, philosophy, psychology and Western European History, while also working with private clients in the fields.

After gaining enough knowledge and experience and also publishing a range of articles on issues about life in Western Europe [Great Britain mostly; having developed a strong sense of connection among the intellectual community here and having spent most of my life on the British island while indirectly also assimilating and establishing myself as a private and independent Franco-British public figure with avant-garde socialist values that encompass an evolutionary, progressive, expansive, sophisticated and open-minded national outlook who also calls the place “home”], I decided to start a degree in Journalism at a well-known university in West London in 2013, before once again shifting to a degree in Psychology just one month after [having already been published and proven on a range of well known spots in the UK press, we thought Psychology would have a bigger impact in changing the rotten minds of our current generation]. I was offered a UK National Scholarship Bursary for Academic Excellence due to my A-levels being so high and spent the next 2 years on the Psychology degree before once again quitting after realising that my theoretical orientations were incredibly avant-garde and far above the level of the majority of lectures currently being offered; and that the founding logic behind my “Organic Theory” was far more sophisticated [being founded on a French school of thought] than all the basic, simplistic and sometimes atavistic theories currently being taught to mainstream psychology students and graduates – the discussions lacked linguistic, philosophical and symbolic depth about the structures of the mind and individual construction.

I also discovered that most mainstream psychology courses focus on reductionist statistical methods best suited for the easily measurable variables of the hard sciences but remain questionable in accuracy when attempting to measure non-physical constructs in psychology related to the mind [e.g. creativity, linguistic proficiency, emotional intelligence, values, expressive complexity, perception, impact of art on the mind, intensity of desires, fluid intelligence, etc]. However, this common type of reductionist research is easily financed and influence most scholars into fitting in those mechanical industries for job security rather than encouraging creative innovations and theories based on the discoveries of the 21st century that strengthen individuals to change the way we live, learn, perceive, construct our realities and behave in order to revolutionise and sophisticate our civilisation for a modern and harmonious world. I was awarded a CertHE in Psychology as a reward and proof of my abilities to perform at university level in a research intensive environment, which I forget to mention most of the time, being trusted, proven & completely at ease with or without it.

What we truly have at heart is the Organic Theory’s development, which we are now fully focused on, having already collected enough solid research during the time spent on the academic route in Psychology, while also developing a top network of progressive scholars and academics from all over the globe [ranging from Grenoble to Oxford].

We surprisingly ended up in a similar situation than our old master, Christian Rivalland: an independent intellectual, scholar, writer, researcher and psychological innovator/consultant with the option always open to finish the mundane academic routine with a PhD at any major university without any stress regarding entry requirements if the desire is deemed progressive, without any pressure, urgency or necessity to do so – already being a global consultant established in 2012 known to guide doctors, lecturers, academics and institutions in their own activities through meticulous arguments and questions about outdated procedures in fields ranging from medicine to psychology.

As matters currently stand, without any intention of comparing ourselves to them, we seem to be on a path with similitudes to that of Charles Darwin [who had an ordinary degree], Michael Faraday [who did not have a degree], John Ernest Walker [who had a 3rd class degree], Henry Bradwardine Jackson [who invented radio communications between ships without a degree] and William Henry Gates III known as “Bill” [who also dropped out of his degree to trust his superior wits over a bunch of university employees, to create a series of tools that hardly any business, university or intellectual could function without today], and we remain fully focused in the writing and publishing of the Organic Theory [which is an ongoing and long-term project involving huge amounts of planning and writing], along with a series of literary works ranging from poetry to novels [all related to the Philosophy of the Organic Theory] while continuously offering consultancy services to private clients/professionals/groups and remaining active on matters of society regarding managerial innovations in education and the outdated political system – which we have been highly critical about and firmly believe to be at the root of a wide range of socio-psychological, cultural, educational, philosophical and economic problems in France, Great Britain, Western Europe and many other places across the globe.

The Organic Theory Project

Our theory aims to be the first psychological theory to truly make psychology a universally applicable discipline, based on the main observable fact that while “the communicative patterns in human primates vary with factors such as culture & environment, individual creativity & IQ do not”.

It is also the first theory that aims to break down & offer a detailed operational definition to the fallacious construct known as “culture” – assuming that culture is every human organism’s choice & is objectively a “set of behavioural patterns” aimed at maintaining a particular group of organisms’ identity [generally organised geographically], which could be transmitted, adjusted & altered [just like a software] to fit any suitably conditioned organism and/or environment(s) since educational knowledge/heritage belongs to humanity, and the acknowledgement for membership of human “cultures” is not dependent on any “approval panel”, but solely on the individual organism’s ability to adjust to a specific set of behavioural patterns [culture]. Thus, adaptive proficiency is completely dependent on the organism’s ability to master the desired set of behavioural patterns [i.e. culture]; which if successful, leads to an objectively & psychologically valid individually-designed qualitative identity.

The Organic Theory acknowledges the meaningful & pivotal empirical findings from Cognitive Neuropsychology, such as the concept of isomorphism (organisation of the mind is linked to the organisation of the brain), which suggests the “possible” influences of neurogenetics [in some cases] on the “human mind”, since the “mind” (the software) can only exist on the hardware (brain physiology/neurological specificity) that it has at its disposal, thus minor differences in brain physiology may lead to completely different minds/psyches [e.g. personality (if any)], although it is important to also consider the scientific fact about the brain’s plasticity, which states that the physiology of the “brain” can be altered and re-shaped by the “mind” to a certain extent, i.e. from psychological events such as lifestyle patterns, guided meditation, individual models of perception and mental training.

Hence, the Organic Theory places a greater emphasis on the “mind” psychoanalytically through deep linguistic discourse (with influences from Jacques Lacan) to understand the deeper cognitive patterns embedded within the psyche, rather than the “brain”. The Organic Theory is primarily concerned with the psychological effects of the organism’s external environment[e.g. arts, language(s), education, authority figures, mentors, role-models, other psycho-social exposure (direct and/or indirect – e.g. digitally and/or other forms of knowledge sharing outlets, etc] in the construction of its internal working models with the flexible and multifaceted processes of learning taking place in the 21st century [we know that external environments and influences are empirically proven to have much more salience in the construction of the individual’s psychology/mind/psyche than the neuro-genetic structure of the brain].

The Organic Theory is also a more evolved pursuit of organic development – a topic of focus shared by developmental psychologist Jean Piaget – and focuses on the internal working models of the individual mind [which is constantly evolving and shaping itself qualitatively throughout life by the unconscious and conscious processes of learning through exposure]. The aim of the Organic Theory is to simply embrace and explore the incredible and near limitless plasticity of the human brain which can be reshaped over the human organism’s lifetime through psychological and/or meditative conditioning; this gives complete freedom of self-definition to the organism in sculpting its own mind, depending on its own beliefs, motives, capabilities and desires, while also being synchronised with the findings of empirical schools of thought focused on the neurophysiology of the brain in psychological research without mechanising the “human mind”, thus remaining loyal to the true qualitative & psychoanalytic traditions of psychology (mind) while also understanding its sub-system (the brain & its cognitive processes) quantitatively, to foster the art of a psychological & scientific/mechanic perspective to all aspects of human life in the universe.

[What else?] I’m also a vegetarian with a penchant for the Arts and a passion for Organismic Psychology in supporting our rapidly evolving human civilisation.

Thank you so much for your time & visit.

Best,
Danny J. D’Purb

dpurb.com is also a Franco-British website, and while we try our best to provide the English audience with translation to the French content, the fact that the French language remains a superior communicative pattern being from a sophisticated cultural heritage with richer grammatical granularity cannot be escaped. French “La Langue Française” remains best experienced in its own linguistic structure, one that most other languages cannot match in terms of precision of accentuation and expressive & emotional depth in timbre. We, the admin team at dpurb.com expect our cultured & select audience to understand and speak French [even at its most basic level], hence we recommend the Alliance Française group as a reliable institution in turning basic communicators into individuals able to at least handle if not master linguistic expression.
